Venetian
In a beautiful tribute to the Italian city of Venice, the Venetian in Vegas made a lovely recreation complete with gondolas, canals, and Venetian architecture will make you wonder if you need to fly out to Italy at all!
Before you even enter the amazing lobby with its Sistine Chapel recreation, be sure to taken in the Doge Palace, Rialto Bridge, and Campanile di San Marco tower recreation. They did such a great job with the architecture!
But on to the lobby… just really wow. If you’re a fan of Italian architecture and paintings, this place will leave your jaw dropped to the floor. Make sure to also drop by the Bouchon cafe to see more beautiful Italian inspired painted ceilings.
Another thing I like about the Venetian are that all rooms, even the entry level rooms, are split level suites with velvet sofas, padded headboards, and marble countertops.
The Grand Lux Cafe is famous for its luxurious breakfast buffet while other great dining options include Wolfgang Puck, Thomas Keller’s Bouchon, and Emeril’s Delmonico Steakhouse.
NoMad
NoMad Hotel used to be the Monte Carlo hotel, which MGM took over and split it between the Park MGM and NoMad. The design cues come from the New York NoMad hotel, which have an opulent European feel to it. There are stone altars in alcoves and fancy statues watching over the entrance, which lead to a red carpet laden front desk experience.
The rooms feel very European with striking royal blue accents pairing with the bright whites of the walls, wooden floors, leather headboards, and steam trunk minibars.
One of the highlights of the hotel is the restaurant, which is based on the Library at The NoMad New York. There are scarlet red lamps, mahogany everywhere, and a nice red glow to everything. It’s dinner only and some of the best food in Vegas!
Waldorf Astoria
Previously managed by the Mandarin Oriental, the upscale Waldorf Astoria Vegas is famous for the attentive service, larger than average rooms, and high end food options.
Twist, by Michelin Star award winning French Chef Pierre Gagniere, is the only restaurant in the USA by the famous Frenchman. The amazing culinary experience is paired with a fantastic view of Las Vegas.
The afternoon tea experience is a nice experience and holdover from the Mandarin Oriental. Grab a seat with a view and enjoy it with friends or your partner!
Make sure to stop by the bar for one of the best views in the city as well.
We loved the hydrotherapy spa pool as it comes with seating inside the pool so you can relax while the bubbles surround your body.
Cosmopolitan
Located mid-Strip, the Cosmopolitan is perfectly situated to explore all of the Strip’s vast entertainment, nightlife, and dining options by foot.
The hotel itself is full of contemporary design and art cues, which is evidenced right when you enter the sweeping lobby. You’ll notice that the Cosmopolitan, as a result, tends to attract a very well polished, groomed and energetic younger clientele.
The rooms are very modern with things like iPad controlled lighting and air conditioning. Some of the best views of the strip are available in the Strip View rooms.
There are over 20 places to eat if you’re hungry with Momofuku from David Chang being one of the highlights. There’s also a Milk Bar next to it - I’m totally in love with the Corn Cookie and Cereal Milk here!
Bellagio
Perhaps one of the most famous sights in Vegas, the dancing water fountains of the Bellagio are a beautiful sight to behold with the synchronized music and sheer performance value. The wondrous lobby and constantly updated flower art garden are another top favorite of many who visit Vegas.
The location of the Bellagio is also quite perfect, being right in the middle of Strip you’ll be able to walk to almost everything by foot.
Rooms have been modernized recently with great touches with great views of the dancing fountains.
You’ll be able to pick from a large assortment of everyday cafes to high end restaurants like Le Cirque. The Bellagio buffet is also renowned for its amazing variety of delicious food for quite an affordable price. Sometimes the wait to get into the buffet is hours long!
Also, O by Cirque du Soleil has a mesmerizing water stage theater inside Bellagio. It’s quite an amazing show worth checking out!
Palazzo at the Venetian
The more laid back sister property to the Venetian, the Palazzo has all the charm and romance of the Venetian but on a more understated, exclusive level.
The Palazzo also shares many of the same public areas of the Venetian such as the Grand Canal shoppes, Grand Lux buffet, and restaurants like Wolfgang Puck’s CUT.
All the rooms, like the Venetian, are split level suites and are much larger than the average Vegas room as a result.
The pool is designed to mimic staying at an Italian villa, which is definitely something to check out!
You might want to get one of the Prestige suites, which gives you access to the Prestige lounge, afternoon tea, Champagne at check in, and concierge assistance for hard to book tickets at last minute.
Wynn
The instantly recognizable curvy, copper colored Wynn resort in Vegas is a famous name in the resort business for good reason. The moment you walk in and see the boldly designed floral garden which easily rivals the one in Bellagio, you’ll see that no effort was spared here.
The service at the Wynn is as good as it gets from checkin to your experience to the Spa at Wynn.
Rooms are spectacular with floor to ceiling windows and comfortable, well appointed beds and bathrooms.
The Terrace Point Cafe is a beautifully decorated cafe with views of the gardens surrounding the pool. Costa Di Mare and SW Steakhouse are also equally stunning places to dine and take in all the visual wonders.
Four Seasons
One of the best kept secrets in Vegas, the Four Seasons is the perfect place for those who want to be close to the action on the Strip but enjoy a sense of peace and exclusivity.
Keeping with its brand, the service from start to finish is top notch and maybe the best in Vegas.
The pools are a reserved, quiet affair with large cabanas and a peaceful ambiance - great for those who don’t want the raucous Vegas pool scene.
Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and full of luxurious sateen pillows and velvet ottomans.
Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace
A stylish foodie paradise tucked away inside the Caesars Palace complex - Nobu Hotel is the brainchild of celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa and partner Robert DeNiro. It’s full of Feng Shui inspired spaces with sleek, natural hued rooms designed by David Rockwell.
A bevy of high-tech touches such as the Nobu app, iPad check-in, buttonless elevators (activated by your key card), and 55-inch flat screens with Apple TV are just a few of the modern conveniences.
In the room, the bath amenities are made exclusively for Nobu from the handmade toothbrushes to the custom scented bath scents and oils.
Guests have access to the fantastic Qua Bath & Spa, which has three Roman baths and a snowing Arctic Ice Room.
You’ll also have quick access to the Forum Shops which are modeled after Italian architecture and even has the beautiful mini replica of the Trevi Fountain.
