Table Of Contents
The John Rylands Library
A real life Harry Potter-esque library, you’ll feel like a student at Hogwarts here.
Arya Stark Mural
Manchester is renowned for it’s street art - and we totally dug the Arya Stark mural - as she’s one of our favorite characters on Game of Thrones.
Albert's Schloss Entrance
The beautiful entrance to this beer palace is completely enchanting! Go in the morning if you want it free of cars in the front.
King Street Townhouse Pool
With unbeatable views of the Town Hall Clock Tower, the rooftop infinity pool at King Street Townhouse was one of the highlights of our stay in Manchester.
Red Phone Booth
The iconic red phone booths of the United Kingdom make for such great backdrops! We loved these specifically for the muted concrete blocks behind them.
Iconic Black Cabs
Go for a ride in a black cab tour and they’ll stop wherever you want so you can get that perfect shot.
Northern Flower
The Refuge
This cavernous 10,000 sqft restaurant/bar/cafe/music venue has some of the prettiest interiors we’ve seen in Europe. Make sure to check out the stunning florist out front as well.
The Old Wellington
The Old Wellington, built in 1552, is one of the oldest buildings in Manchester and is the perfect place to grab a drink and a photo!
Black Milk Cafe
If you want an over the top, delicious and Instagrammable treat after lunch or dinner, definitely head over to Black Milk. Where else can you get a pastel colored milkshake with a matching rainbow slice of cake on top?
Barton Arcade
This Victorian shopping arcade has wonderful light streaming in and gorgeous gold and black metal iron work along with cute tile patterns all over!
We were graciously invited to Manchester as guests of Visit Manchester, Virgin Atlantic, and Visit Britain. All opinions are our own.
