Baby Lemonade
This is one of the most famous and reliable hostels in St. Petersburg.
Located in the center of St. Petersburg and close to Nevsky Prospekt, you’ll be well situated for city exploration.
The design is mainly focused on the rocking swinging 60’s with rooms named after Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and the like.
As with most hostels, it’s focused around social interaction and it does that part very well with its well designed common areas.

Metropolis
Situated perfectly at the tip of Nevsky Prospekt, this boutique hotel is a great value proposition with it’s comfortable and cutely designed rooms.
There are nine rooms in total, each themed uniquely around Russian cultural figures such as Pushkin and Tolstoy. Rooms are around $60 USD.
Soul Kitchen
Although this is technically a hostel, it’s more of a high-end version with it’s well designed common areas and rooms, which run about $37 for a private room.
There is everything from dorm rooms, private rooms, to large family rooms. The rooms are smaller than most hotels but are well appointed.
There is a large, open kitchen for all to use - which is great for saving money on food. It’s also a great place to meet other like minded travelers!

Taleon Imperial
Located right on Nevsky Prospekt, the Taleon Imperial is in the perfect location for exploration of the city. You can reach Stroganov Palace, the Winter Palace, Arts Square, and Savior on the Spilled Blood by foot easily.
It’s also a former 18th century palace, so the architecture and ambiance is quite stunning. Most of the rooms are designed in Baroque style decor with gilded lamps and antique wooden furniture.
There’s a large indoor pool and a terrace overlooking the city along with a Finnish sauna and infrared cabin.
The Victoria Restaurant has a nice view of the city while the Griboedov Gastro Bar is a nice way to end the evening. Rooms start at $163.
State Hermitage Museum Hotel
An official partner to the State Hermitage Museum, the style and architecture resembles the museum down to the official clothing of the hotel employees.
The hotel atrium lobby is a beautiful piece of architecture with natural light streaming in to showcase the elegance of it all.
The rooms, especially the suites, were made to emulate the style and design of the State Hermitage Museum. Rooms start at $150 USD.
Angleterre Hotel
Located right next to it’s sister hotel Hotel Astoria, this a more value conscious choice with almost all the same benefits.
One of the great amenities of this hotel is the Angleterre Cinema Lounge, which hosts art films, ballet, opera, and film premieres.
Location wise - it’s in the perfect place to explore St. Petersburg.

Hotel Astoria
Located right across from the stunning St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Hotel Astoria is perfectly located near many important sights such as the Hermitage State Museum, Church of the Savior of Spilled Blood, and Nevsky Prospekt.
The hotel itself is full of unique art pieces, framed photography, and designer furnishings. Some of the rooms offer stunning views of St. Isaacs Cathedral and have all the amenities you’d expect from a 5 star hotel.
Make sure to grab breakfast at the expansive buffet which serves anything from caviar to Siberian Pelmeni.

Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace
