Best Places For Cherry Blossoms In Paris
Did you know that Paris is one of the most beautiful places in the world to see Cherry Blossoms? I had always thought Japan was one of the only places, but was pleasantly surprised by the stunning display of colors in Paris!
From the incredible backdrop of the Eiffel Tower to the lovely Parisian architecture, going to Paris for spring blossoms is a great idea!
Here are the best spots to see the Cherry Blossoms in Paris:
Eiffel Tower Trocadéro Gardens
If you want to have a photo of the Eiffel Tower framed with beautiful cherry blossoms, then Trocadero Garden is the place to be!
There are cherry blossoms lining both sides of the park along with picturesque benches that you can use as part of the shot.

Pro tip: Get here early, as this is a very popular spot! Just right after sunrise is a perfect time for photography here.

Jardine des Plantes
Jardine des Plantes, home to over 10,000 plant species from all over the world, has one of the most stunning cherry blossom trees in Paris!
When it’s in full bloom, it’s hard to find a more lush and pink cherry blossom in the city limits of Paris.
Just across the pathway, there is a stunning white cherry blossom tree as well.
The pink and white cherry blossom trees might bloom at slightly different times, but when we visited both were in full bloom.
When: Early to Mid April
Pro tip: Get here in the morning, as it tends to get busy starting around 11 am.

Parc de Sceaux
I didn’t know of this park until someone told me about the stunning grove of pink cherry blossoms! It’s a bit on the outskirts of Paris and requires a 30 minute RER train ride, but it’s so worth it! In fact, the park was really nice and quite large, so I’d love to go back just to check it out some other time!
The North Grove is where you’ll see row after row of dazzling pink cherry blossom trees. It was pretty much our favorite spot to see Cherry Blossoms, maybe even more than Japan! We liked how it wasn’t overly crowded due to it being mostly locals there.
The South Grove has loads of white cherry blossom trees, which are really beautiful too!

Shakespeare and Company
It wasn’t hard to convince me to swing by Shakespeare and Co, as it’s one of my favorite bookstores in Paris! In the spring, there are two beautiful pink cherry blossom trees right in front!
Make sure to peruse the books inside this enchanting bookstore after you take photos!
Pro-tip: Get here early as this is a massively popular bookstore with a line to enter usually.

Mail de Bièvre
A bit of a local gem, this magical walkway is lined with a stunning array of pink cherry blossoms! When they’re all in bloom it’ll look like an endless tunnel of color!
It’s conveniently located near the Glacière metro stop.
Note: It’s located in area with lots of residents, but everyone was quite friendly.
When: Early thru Mid-April

Rue Villebois Mareuil
Located very close to Paris in the city of Vincennes, there is a stunning residential street full of cherry blossoms. It’s pretty easy to get here with the subway and so worth it for the photos!

Square Paul Langevin
One of the more peaceful places for cherry blossoms, this lovely park has strategically placed benches under the beautiful blossoms.
One of our favorite memories was sitting under the bench in the warm sunlight while the light wind blew the pink blossoms slowly over us.

Place Camille Claudel
Located right at the Falguière Metro stop, this is one of the most stunning views as subway stops go.
There are a couple of bright pink cherry blossom trees framing the staircase, which you can also use to photograph the metro sign and beautiful building in the background.

Petit Palais
While visiting this beautiful museum (entrance is free), make sure to check out the lovely pink cherry blossom tree at the entrance and inside at the courtyard.
Afterwards, have a coffee and croissant at the museum cafe in the courtyard.

Metro Station St Paul
Located in the bustling Le Marais District, there are a couple of lovely pink Cherry Blossom trees right at the St Paul Metro Stop.
